Straight out of Dunedin and Wellington, ZËxÏÏ and Mikeyy have teamed up for an epic collaboration, with their new release Tired.
The genre-bending track brings a unique sonic intensity and explores the challenge of relationships. “When writing this track we combined different life experiences we had into one combined outlook: we were tired of being played with,” says Mikeyy.
Tired has a production quality that stands out thanks to Producer Timon Martin, who brought his fresh approach to the collab, and the trio developed the track together from start to finish. Featuring layers of stripped back production the song creates space to emote all the right feels.
“Mikeyy and I had been wanting to work together for the longest time. It was that collaboration that the Universe wanted to happen. I'm stoked that I got to work with him and Timon, we all clicked on another level,” says ZËxÏÏ.
Tired is out Friday 19th August on all streaming platforms.
