Building on the momentum of an already huge year, Kiwi artist Riiki Reid shows no sign of slowing down with the release of her brand new mini EP Crash & Collide today.
Crash & Collide - made up of three singles Drive, The City and a new track We’re A Different Kind - is all about music that brings joy and picks up the pace.
“The dance world is something I’ve always been so within; and I want this EP to capture that, I want people to listen to Crash & Collide and feel inspired to get up and move. I also want them to see that I can still write pop music!” explains Riiki.
Riiki’s recent, dance filled music video for The City was entirely self-choregraphed; with her dance background shining through. The video, which was co-directed by Riiki alongside Devan Narsai, is fast and intoxicating; with Riiki’s vision to have it feel like a club in Berlin.
Crash & Collide celebrates another side to Riiki Reid; an unstoppable artist with many talents to show and more to come.
As well as her new releases, this year Riiki Reid has played alongside local legend Wax Mustang and international Benson Boone in Auckland, and supported Budjerah on his Australian tour. Later this evening Riiki will beperforming live supporting Ashe at Powerstation.
