Shadowcaster is back again with their first single of 2023

19 February 2023 - 0 Comments

Marking a departure from the upbeat folk-pop shouts of previous releases, Shadowcaster’s latest single Eternity is an intimate, synth-infused affair deconstructing romantic breakdowns of the wee small hours.

There’s some irony in that this latest record represents the first official full-band writing collaboration, but don’t let the crowded room fool you - frontman Trent Graham sticks to his guns, leading listeners through the ghostly, nostalgic soundscape with vaulting lyrics that still maintain the folk nuances of his past.

Built around an ever-questioning acoustic guitar and driving 80's beat, Eternity swells with the emotions of love gone awry, landing the listener right in the middle of soft acceptance and early morning unease. It’s a whole new side to Shadowcaster, but one that offers a glimpse of the multi-faceted work to come.

Eternity is currently set for a March 20th release.
