14 March 2023 - 0 Comments

Salmonella Dub Soundsystem step out across Aotearoa to kick off the first shows on their For All Things Alive Tour, starting with shows in Mt Maunganui and Coroglen this coming ANZAC weekend.

This year’s Salmonella Dub Soundsystem tour features new album collaborators Whirimako Black and The Mighty Asterix on the mic, and the return of the bands’ long lost 3-part Aussie/Kiwi Horn section, ready to slay audiences with their unique brand of dub and reggae set to light up the dance floor.

Fans will also be able to secure their copies of Salmonella Dub's Nu double-digi l~bum and Return to our Kowhai - 3 x 12" Vinyl pack, featuring 22 new tunes and exclusive vinyl mixes. The pre-order for both releases unlocks unlimited access to Salmonella Dub's Digi-Playground - the bands nu interactive online platform.

The band will be gifting exclusive access to download and stream the digi re-masters from the bands sold out 25th Birthday Deluxe 12" Vinyl Box Set, 8 hrs of remastered SalDub on 10 albums to everyone who bought tickets to their rolling postponements for their ‘21/’22 touring season.

While the live band Salmonella Dub is currently undergoing a hiatus, the revived Salmonella Dub Soundsystem will continue to represent, rocking houses, festivals, and dance floors nationwide with their 3 hour Salmonella Dub Back Cat bangers, vinyl remixes, and new Salmonella Dub albums and singles releases.

A Word From Andrew:

"This is Salmonella Dub Soundsystem's first run of shows since the weekend before lockdown 2020 and first run of shows featuring The Mighty Asterix AND we're having a 3rd crack at releasing For All Things Alive + the 3x 12" Kowhai 12" albums we started writing in Kaikoura the week of the last Roots Fest back in 2012!

We’re Mainlanders - Good Cheese Takes Time eh!?

We started in Kaikoura, recorded in Christchurch, mixed and ditch 3 productive years of writing with Antsmif in Sydney and finished the last vocal takes in Whakatu with Whirimako Black the night of Richard Nunn's Tangi and with Troy Kingi on the day of lockdown 2021 - it took 10 years to make - 3 years to release! Gotta be close to ready by now eh?”

April 21 - Totara Street - Mt Maunganui R18

April 22 - Coroglen Tavern – Coroglen R18
