This years PHAT 10 New Years Festival at Inangahua in the pristine native forest of the south islands West Coast will be the exclusive NZ stopover for the PENDULUM (DJ SET) ALBUM PREVIEW TOUR & the first chance to hear tracks from Pendulum's eagerly anticipated new album spun by the original trio of ANSCENIC, SPEED & EL HORNET & hosted by MC VERSE.
In addition, a mega dubstep contingent from the UK headed up by original pioneers SKREAM & BENGA who return after storming last years Phat 09 & truly breaking the new genre into Kiwi heads, & including MALA DIGITAL MYSTIKZ, DISTANCE & KRYPTIC MINDS will also all appear exclusively at the south island event.
Other headlining internationals include the legendary DJ HYPE with DADDY EARL; the original BAD COMPANY UK & MC LOWQUI; hot running bad boy SPOR from Renegade Hardware; perennial favourite KLUTE & the drum n bass & now dubstep act that NZ just can't get enough of from Holland BLACK SUN EMPIRE.
NZ acts that will give all of the internationals a run for their money include an exclusive New Years appearance by THE UPBEATS, who have just released their latest BIG SKELETON album to mighty acclaim; CONCORD DAWN, THE BLACK SEEDS, TIKI with a DJ/Acoustic set, KORA, OLMECHA SUPREME, SALMONELLA DUB with WHIRIMAKO BLACK, ASTERIX & MC MANA, STATE OF MIND, GREG CHURCHILL, BULLETPROOF, OPTIMUS GRYME, TRUTH, TREI, AGENT ALVIN & TIMMY SCHUMACHER & MC KYLA to name just a few of the over 100 acts to grace the 2 Phat stages over 4 nights from the 29 Dec until 2 January 2010.
Tickets are strictly limited to 5000 to ensure a comfortable time for all at the remote bushclad venue which includes free on-site camping, a river with swimming holes & the luxuries of flush toilets & hot showers to compliment the bars & cafes, day-spa & slingshot bungy rides all available on site.
