Allen Stone Announces Tour Dates For 'Off The Beaten Path' In New Zealand

24 October 2023 - 0 Comments

Soul powerhouse Allen Stone today announces Australia and New Zealand dates for December 2023 and January 2024 as part of the Off The Beaten Path Tour. Following the success of his 2022 ‘The New Normal Tour’ which saw him perform in major cities across Australia and New Zealand, Allen will make a return later this year, bringing his soulful melodies to intimate regional venues. The Washington-raised musician will kick off the tour at Newcastle’s Bar On The Hill before journeying through New South Wales, Canberra, Victoria, New Zealand, and concluding at Gold Coast’s Miami Marketta.

Tickets for all shows go on sale 1pm, Friday 27th October.

My Live Nation members can secure tickets first during the exclusive pre-sale beginning Thursday 26th October at 1pm concluding on Friday 27th October at 12pm.

Allen Stone's journey to becoming a successful musician started in the small town of Chewelah, Washington, where he was raised on gospel music and spent much of his childhood as a pastor's son, watching his parents lead their congregation in song. After dropping out of college, he made the move to Seattle to pursue his music career, often driving up and down the West Coast in his '87 Buick to perform at any and all gigs he could find. Stone quickly gained a reputation for his powerful live performances, and over the years, he has played up to 200 dates per year, building a devoted following along the way. His unique ability to channel sensitivity into his songs while radiating hope and promise has endeared him to audiences worldwide. Stone's ability to blend various genres, including soul-pop, folk-rock, R&B, and funk, is evident in his five full-length albums, from his 2010 self-released debut album Last To Speak to 2021's Apart.

In addition to his successful touring schedule, Stone has also appeared on national television numerous times, including Australia’s RocKwiz, NPR’s TinyDesk, has been a guest on MTV’s Ridiculousness, and participated as a mentor for two seasons of ABC’s American Idol. Recently finishing a tour with Chris Stapleton, Allen is back in the studio working new music, set to be released in 2024.
