Lucinda (isunray Remix Drive by Night Version) with its 80's synthwave sound and pumping synths is the perfect soundtrack to the freedom of a night drive - leaving the cares of the day behind. Jack from Flash-Trax describes the tune as "a synth-driven dance-floor filler."
Wairarapa artist isunray makes cinematic and sculptured electro-pop with synths, crisp beats and warm vocals to live and love to. isunray's inspiration for the remix of Lucinda came from This Silent Divide's music video for the original version of the song. "I was struck by the imagery of the woman driving and just how happy she was later watching the band play, I wanted to create the perfect environment to surrender to the power of music and drive your cares away", says isunray.
For rock band This Silent Divide it's been a great experience. “We were excited to have isunray create a synthwave remix of 'Lucinda' and re-imagine a wall-of-guitars rock tune as a summer pop anthem“, says This Silent Divide vocalist Shaun Jones.
