Introducing the first of an electrifying line-up of remixes from Sylvee’s April 2023 EP, Downpour.
Renowned artist and producer Ryan Beehre aka Serpico (Minuit, Neon Cowboys, Funknslocuts) sets the stage with his vibrant house remix of Honey, infusing it with pulsating beats and infectious energy.
Following the success of her debut EP, Life On Mars (2019), which garnered critical acclaim and multiple television syncs on US SYFY and CBS shows ‘Chucky’, ‘Walker’ and ‘The Republic of Sarah’, Sylvee released her Sophomore EP Downpour in April last year.
Downpour, a fusion of pop, rock, and pure emotion, delves into the theme of ‘sink or swim’ with lyrical depth and musical richness, immersing listeners in a captivating sonic journey.
Among Downpour’s gems, the third track, Honey, was a sonic marvel with its driving rhythm and electrifying guitar riffs. Its lyrics paint a picture of the intoxicating early stages of a romance, evoking warm, summery visuals and a groove that beckons movement.
Honey’s original credits include production by Josh Edmonds, Joseph Corban-Banks, and Joel Zaia. Mixed by Joel Zaia and Mastered by Struan Finlay.
