Repairs announce the release of a music video for their latest single Lylas, a change of pace from their last two singles which sees a more subdued ode to grappling with imposter syndrome and feelings of inadequacy.
Filmed by the band while hanging out over a long weekend (with some help from the canine stars of the video) Lylas is a homage to family home movies and the group’s favourite 90's alt rock bands, filtered through the lens of old VHS recordings and worn tapes. The video juxtaposes the insecurity and self-doubt of the lyrics with footage of four legged friends Gus, Honey and Peaches living their best life frolicking in a paddock with an air of unbridled joy (and getting a lot of treats as a reward).
Lylas is the third and final single from Repairs’ upcoming second album Disappointing Sequel, out on April 17th.
