Unstoppable Kiwi Duo SACHI Join Forces With Latashá On Electric New Single '405'

24 May 2024 - 0 Comments

Visionary electronic duo SACHI (Nick Chrisp and Will Thomas) have done it again. This time joining forces with extraordinary multi-hyphenated artist Latashá on the romantic and affably existential single 405.

405 started during studio sessions in Sydney with SACHI and Nick Littlemore (Empire of The Sun, PNAU), and grew from a scat Nick was experimenting with. The ‘405’ line references Southern California’s most crowded freeway – and pays tribute to Littlemore and SACHI’s shared connection to LA.

“It sounded so different the day we made it; we loved the idea, but it needed a new direction, so Littlemore put us in touch with Latashá who took it back to her studio and wrote her part. Latashá’s vocals are the electricity, the magic self-loving sauce. We’re so lucky to have her a part of this record.” says SACHI.
