Music News - York Street Studios Acid Test 2002 Announced

Now in its fifth year, the York Street Studios Acid Test has been launched for 2002.
With over $15,000 worth of prizes, the competition is a fantastic chance for musicians to not only take advantage of these prizes, but also; the exposure, industry networking, career development and other great opportunites are offered by this competition.
The intention of the competition is to launch professional music careers. The criteria is not only based on performance and songwriting, but there is also a strong emphasis on professionalism, marketing and promotion, business planning, industry knowledge and commercial radio potention.
The competition comprises 12 heats held weekly on Sundays, starting 11 August 02, with 4 semi-finals Saturdays 9 November to 30 November, and the Grand Final on Saturday 14 December. Al genres of music are welcome.
