Here is the latest news from Kog Transmissions:
1) The Dirty (Kog's Hip-Hop Label) sophomore release 'Jerry 4 WA' by Unique is almost finished and is sounding wicked, heading for its end of August release date. The first single 'Outspoken' is already enjoying success on BNet throughout the country. 'Jerry 4 WA' follows the highly successful Dirty/Kog release 'Big Things' by P-Money.
2) Subware's eponymous album was released on 13 June and was an overwhelming success. The album is in shops now. Tour dates will be announced shortly.
3) There will be a series of Dub Combination gigs in Australia showcasing Aotearoa's premium dub DJs as follows:
Melbourne - 20 July @ Revolver
Sydney - 21 July @ Frigid
Dub Combinations Chapters One & Two will be released in Australia at the end of July.
The Kog Imprint Label - Syncline will be releasing the Third Chapter in the Dub Combinations later int he year, early indications are that it will be the best yet.
4) Low Profile (Kog's Drum n Bass Label) have New Zealand Drum n Bass masters Concord Dawn working on their follow up to their two successful album releases with a mix album to be released late in the year. This will be a combination of the cream of local d'n'b talent, and a number of influential international artists will also be contributing.
Concord Dawn will then be looking to finishing their third full length album scheduled for release in early 2003.
