15 October 2024 - 0 Comments

Jim Beam Homegrown is set to celebrate its 18th birthday in style with its most exciting festival yet, and for the first time ever, it’s expanding to two massive days of live Kiwi music! On March 14 & 15, 2025, Wellington’s waterfront will be transformed into a vibrant hub of Kiwi talent, good vibes, and diverse sounds. This year's lineup is packed with a mix of returning favourites and fresh faces, with 30% of the acts making their debut at Homegrown, making it the most dynamic festival in the event's history.

Friday, March 14, 2025 – Park Stage at Waitangi Park

The festival kicks off on Friday night at the Park Stage with a spectacular lineup headlined by the genre-defying Synthony, combining the power of a live orchestra with high-energy electronic beats. Fans will also be treated to powerhouse performances from Stan Walker, Lee Mvtthews, Che Fu & The Kratez + King Kapisi, and the rising talents of The Katayanagi Twins. It’s a night to celebrate Kiwi music, culture, and community with a fusion of soul, electronic, and beats.

Saturday, March 15, 2025 – All 5 Stages Across Wellington’s Waterfront

Saturday promises an even bigger experience, with five stages showcasing an incredible lineup that spans rock, reggae, hip-hop, and electronic music. This epic day includes the iconic Shapeshifter, bringing their unmatched live energy to Park Stage. Joining them is a who's who of New Zealand’s music legends, including the beloved Sir Dave Dobbyn, the ever-popular Sons of Zion, and the high-energy sounds of Drax Project.

But that’s not all — Kaylee Bell, Nesian Mystik, and Elemeno P will deliver unforgettable performances, while reggae favourites Katchafire and The Black Seeds will bring the uplifting/chill/etc vibes. Rock fans can look forward to hard-hitting sets from Alien Weaponry, I Am Giant, and debuting is Polynesian heavy metal outfit Shepherds Reign, while hip-hop lovers can catch SWIDT and Kings at the Lagoon stage. Electronic fans will be in for a treat with performances from Quix, Sin & Brook, Lady Shaka, and P-Money.

Other must-see acts include the soulful Louis Baker, the energetic punk rock of Dartz, the rising talents of Sam V and Kane Hawkins, and an extensive list of Aotearoa’s musical talent, including Aaradhna, Cassie Henderson, Mitch James, Troy Kingi & The Cactus Handshake, Pirapus, and Beccie B.
