Music News - Eye TV Quit Record Label

Eye TV have officially announced that they will part ways with their record label, Antenna Records (distributed by Virgin Records), on the 18th January 2002.

This ends a decade of rock on one of the premier NZ independant labels. The band have described the move as 'intensely' liberating'. The band intends to release future material on their own label.

It has also been annouced that the band's keyboardist, Grant Winterburn has also quit the band. It what is described as a mutual decision between Grant and the band, Grant will be continuing his involvement with musials and theatre production.

Eye TV has spent the last few months demoing new material for a new album, to be recorded sometime in 2002.
