The New Zealand Music Managers Forum in association with PPNZ Music Licensing proudly presents the 2013 Music Managers Awards.
The New Zealand MMF is a community of music professionals who offer networking opportunities, mentoring and career development to New Zealand music managers. The ultimate aim of the MMF is to improve music managers’ capacity to support the careers of the artists they represent.
The MMF Music Managers Awards celebrate the managers who work hard behind the scenes of some of New Zealand’s favourite and most successful bands by recognising their achievements over the preceding year.
Nominations for the MMF Music Managers Awards are now open in the following categories:
· Manager of the Year
· Upcoming Manager of the Year
· Self Managed Artist of the Year
· International Achievement
· Best Small Venue
· Best Large Venue
· Industry Champion
· Outside of the box award
Non-MMF members can be nominated in any category but any finalists will be required to pay an entry fee, which automatically gives them a 12-month membership to the MMF.
To nominate a manager email [email protected] with the managers name and the artist/s they look after, along with the categories you are nominating them for.
Nominations close March 13th 2013.
All managers put forward for awards will be shortlisted by a panel of music industry judges and the finalists announced in late April.
The MMF Music Managers Awards ceremony will be held on May 15th at Backbeat Bar in Auckland City.
