The Rhythm Group is excited to present to you the first line up announcement for the 2013 Rhythm and Alps festival.
Pioneering act Rudimental will bring their explosive energy and talented mixing skills in the form of a DJ set to Rhythm and Alps festival goers. With a melting pot of influences stamped firmly across the brilliant and adventurous album Home, Rudimental topped the UK charts with their number one hits, the Brit Nominated Feel The Love and Waiting All Night ft. Ella Eyre.
Rudimental have a strong musical heart, and like Soul II Soul, Massive Attack or Basement Jaxx before them, have come together to strike musical gold with a unique identity, beats and soulful voices. This pioneering act will bring their explosive energy and talented mixing skills for a sensational New Year’s eve.
Shapeshifter by name and by nature, this electronic outfit continue to sell out shows worldwide from Gisborne to Glastonbury. With multiple music awards, platinum sales and a loyal fan base, this band from Christchurch set dance floors moving with their experimental blend of soulful electronica and drum and bass.
Due to popular demand from festival goers, South London’s independent record label Hospital Records is returning to Rhythm and Alps for the second time with their Hospitality club night. Hospital Records is one of the most respected dance labels in the world.

As announced last week, Rhythm and Alps has a new home for 2013. The new location is Robrosa Station in the beautiful Cardrona Valley, 15 minutes south of Wanaka, Central Otago.
Wanaka is at the gateway to the stunning Mt Aspiring National Park. It is an international tourist destination famous for its pristine environment, water and outdoor adventure activities, and long summer days and nights. It is the perfect holiday destination and now has a world class music festival on its doorstep.
For the first time this year Rhythm and Alps will have premium camping.
Tickets for the 2 day event are capped at 5000. There will only be 600 early bird tickets available at the following prices:
2 day festival tickets from $129 +booking fee.
2 day festival pass and on-site camping from $169 +booking fee.
Get in quick! Once all the early bird tickets are sold tickets will start from $159 for a 2 day ticket and $199 for a 2 day ticket plus onsite camping.
