Scribe Goes Gold In First Day

16 October 2003 - 0 Comments

Released today, and first day sales of SCRIBE’s debut album THE CRUSADER have struck GOLD (7500 copies) and show no sign of stopping at all. In fact, FMR has sold more than 10,500 copies of The Crusader as at today’s date.

Reports of a retail sales ‘frenzy’ have been verified around the country, and it is a wonder to behold as the nation’s youth come out to celebrate the shining star of New Zealand hip-hop – SCRIBE.

Scribe’s debut single "Stand Up" reached number 1 in the NZ singles chart after only 3 weeks and was lodged there for six weeks. The single has since reached sales in excess of platinum.

Recently confirmed as support act for 50 Cent, Obie Trice and G-Unit for their Auckland December 9 show, expect to see Scribe on his nationwide “Stand Up Tour” starting November.
