Music News - Meat Puppets Cancel NZ shows

It's with heavy hearts and many organizational nightmares that the Meat Puppets & organizers made the difficult decision to cancel their New Zealand dates coming up later this month.
The legendary "Pupps" were due to play Wellingtons Bodega on May 22nd and The Kings Arms in Auckland on the 23rd.
Although every effort was made to reschedule the dates, unfortunately due to potential immigration/visa issues, playing the 2 dates in New Zealand could have jeopardized their upcoming Australian Tour and further touring plans.
The band and organizers are gutted and send out heartfelt apologies to the Meat Puppets fans in New Zealand who had already purchased tickets. They also want to thank the amazing array of kiwi bands that emailed for support.
Refunds will be provided by Undertheradar.co.nz over the next week.
The band hope to return bringing their legendary catalogue of stories in 2015, Watch this space.
