Thomas Oliver is taking time out from the recording studio to play two shows only this July, Auckland and Wellington.
Following on from Thomas’s first solo release, Beneath the Weissenborn, an all instrumental, all Weissenborn record which debuted at #8 on the album charts to critical acclaim and established him as one of the world's leading Weissenborn players, Thomas is currently working on a new solo album which sees him build a bridge between his being a singer-songwriter and his passions for the Weissenborn lap slide guitar and electronic music.
“I'm super excited about the direction of all this new stuff I'm working on. So much so that I felt the urge to share some of it on the live scene before hiding away again to finish it! Bring on July...”, says Thomas.
Thomas will then be heading to Europe in August to play a series of shows and festivals.
