Auckland-based duo Angelo King (Third3ye) and Jono Das release their first collaborative single, Real Rain. The pair are currently working on their debut EP, The Lion & The Lotus, which is due to be released later in the year.

"Earth is a petri dish and we are its bacterial inhabitants. As we grow so do the virus's and cancers that live among us. We question our reality, the try to take it away. We call upon a higher power to save us and we WAIT. We are the higher power. CREATE." said Angelo King, the duo's lyricist.

The collaborative project has been described as psychedelic jazz rap. Angelo King weaves a web of intricate lyricism fusing spiritually-conscious subject matter with Jono Das’ beat-driven soundscapes of jazz-influenced drum samples; overall creating a truly crisp euphonious production.

You can catch Angelo King and Jono Das playing their first shows as a collaborative adventure in July and August.
