A special songwriting workshop is happening in Auckland on Wednesday November 12th. After the successful ‘Make Your Living From Music’ seminar held in August, Ryan Kershaw is holding a songwriting workshop at APRA with special guest Marcus Powell (Blindspott/Blacklistt). Songwriting advice will be given on being confident as a songwriter, where to write, developing good habits for songwriting, how to get (and stay) inspired, song structure, using song titles, putting meaning to music, how to write solos, and how to use hooks more effectively. There will also be time to ask questions relating to your own songs and songwriting.
Ryan's students have a 100% Excellence pass rate in NCEA and have gone on to be music teachers and tour overseas themselves, so be in quick as spots are limited to only 35 spaces. Registration is essential so please email [email protected] now to reserve your spot.
