As the release date of Trust Punks’ debut long player approaches, today the band announces their return to Australian shores and a New Zealand Tour. The New Zealand group has quickly built up a strong reputation in their home country, through their ferocious live shows and refreshing, pop-laced take on hard-core. Now one year since their first ever Australian tour, Trust Punks will play shows along the East Coast of Australia and shows across NZ this November.
In celebration of the impending tour, the band has announced new single Gordian Knot. Hand-picked by NME in their ‘20 Tracks You Need To Hear’ playlist, the single has already garnered praise from the likes of The Vine, Under The Radar and Mess & Noise. Listen to Gordian Knot here.
As a special treat, Trust Punks also unveiled album track Through The Thicket earlier today. Short and sharp,Through The Thicket is a driving outburst of socialist fury, asking “is there a passage without bloodshed”? Stream the song here.
