FUTURE SOUND SYSTEM

AVICII

with AFROJACK

and MARTIN GARRIX

Introducing the hottest ticket of the summer- FUTURE SOUND SYSTEM! Future Music Group and Frontier Touring are proud to present a massive outdoor summer dance party to send the summer off in style!

Headlining is the world’s biggest DJ, a 23-year-old record-breaking superstar - Avicii! We are thrilled to announce that Avicii will bring his monumental live show to New Zealand this February.

Joining Avicii on the bill are renowned international producers and DJs Afrojack and Martin Garrix, adding to what will be the hottest outdoor music event of the summer at Mt Smart Stadium, Friday February 27th 2015.

The show will be held on the stadium field in front of a massive purpose built stage with full live production.  The field will be split into two areas:

  • At $119.90 (+ BF), the R18 "Beats"zone puts you right in front of the stage with access to the exclusive Summer Chill Lounge.

  • The $89.90 (+ BF) R15 "Bass"zone features an R18 bar & gives party goers the option of hanging back and chilling or getting amongst the action.

These zones have been created to ensure Future Sound System is the best party experience whatever your age.

Easily the most in-demand DJ on the planet, Avicii’s latest single, 'The Days', is the new hit from his upcoming The Days/Nights EP. The next release from Avicii is the highly anticipated FIFA 2015 featured single 'The Nights', from the same EP to be released early December 2014.

‘The Days’ is a testament to Avicii’s consistently evolving musical ethos and a single that feels ready to build on the phenomenal success of his debut album ‘True’, which has now sold over 5 million copies worldwide and is certified gold in New Zealand.

‘True’ also boasted 2013’s fastest-selling single in ‘Wake Me Up!’, which is now 3 x platinum in New Zealand. The song charted at #1 in amammoth84 territories, and it’s legacy has grown to completely redefine the stylistic underpinnings of contemporary dance music. Avicii then followed up with platinum single ‘Hey Brother’ and platinumsmash hit ‘Addicted to You’, cementing his position as one of the most sought after music acts in the world.

Avicii’s stunning live sets are a sensory assault of beats, 3D mapping, LED and amazing projections, a fizzy celebration of his emotional, wide-reaching 4/4 anthems.

"It still amazes me how a single man on stage can actually connect with the audience, however he was so engaging to watch while he mixed... Put that together with the amazing graphic production behind him and it made for a visually amazing show."- The AU Review

Also on the bill is Grammy Award® winning DJ & Producer, Afrojack.

Afrojack is one of the most influential names in electronic dance music today. At only 26, he has played a large role in the worldwide explosion and popularity of dance music with The Hollywood Reporter recently calling him ‘’a global icon’’ set ‘’to conquer the world" and in 2013 Forbes placed him #7 on its annual list of “The World’s Highest Paid DJs.” Having already collaborated with some of today’s biggest stars (Pitbull & Ne-Yo, David Guetta, and many more), topped the Billboard Charts, performed at some of the world’s most iconic music festivals, including Coachella, Ultra and Tomorrowland and becoming only the second DJ in history to place his hand prints in the Hollywood Walk Of Fame.

Rounding out this excellent bill is Martin Garrix, who may not be a superhero or a secret agent, but does possess two identities. By day, he's like any other 18-year-old. However, when the sun goes down, he's behind the decks in front of packed hotspots and festivals across the globe such as Ultra Music Festival and Coachella fraternizing with electronic dance music royalty, tirelessly producing in the studio, and dropping records. 2013 saw him un-cage 'Animals', his breakout international single for Spinnin' Records. Upon release, it climbed to #1 on the Beatport Top Songs Chart and impressively held the spot for four weeks. As a result, Garrix became the youngest artist ever to seize the top spot. The single had solidified him as a bona fide record-breaking phenomenon and even reached a Platinum status in the U.S. with over 1 million sales. Listen to Afrojack & Martin Garrix's new smash 'Turn Up The Speakers'here.

With Avicii’s epic stadium show finally reaching our shores this will be summer’s hottest ticket so get in quick!
