Ezra Vine has announced a Summer tour, where he will be joined by up-and-coming singer Alexander Wildwood, with support from Kaitlin Riegel. This January, they will hit the road and bring an unplugged acoustic set to Auckland, Tauranga, Christchurch, Wellington and Bethels Beach.
Ezra Vine is a multi-instrumentalist obsessed with escapism, indulging his melodic fantasies among handclaps, and the waltz of bass drums. His debut single Celeste was one of the biggest airplay hits in New Zealand in 2013 and is followed up by the equally-infectious, Braver Than Most (at radio now). Both singles are taken from the Celeste EP.
NYC-based webzine Dingus likened Ezra Vine to 'Of Monsters and Men with dashes of Edward Sharp and Fun.' Fresh from a UK/European tour with Vance Joy, Ezra Vine’s debut EP Celeste is available from iTunes here.
Alexander Wildwood grew up on the sea, sailing the world as a boy listening to The Beach Boys and Neil Young. The songwriter and producer (PleasePlease) now creates beachside in Mount Maunganui. He spent 2014 supporting several international acts including Boyce Avenue, Boy & Bear's New Zealand tour and UK band Elbow. Alexander's debut EP South of No North is available on iTunes now.
Portland born, New Zealand living Kaitlin Riegel joins Ezra and Alexander on the summer tour. Kaitlin has been singing and songwriting since the young age of 10 and has since honed in and feel roped her unique alternative-contemporary sound. She has spent 2014 developing her new EP, after performing at the MUSEXPO 2014 in Los Angeles and showcases in New York and London. This month saw the release of System, Kaitlin's contemporary RnB track with catchy hooks. System is available now ahead of her forthcoming EP due for release on February 10.
The summer tour features a fantastic line-up which can't be missed. Catch Ezra Vine, Alexander Wildwood and Kaitlin Riegel on tour this January.
