The Trio perform two shows in Auckland and Wellington and also take their unique music to Marahau and Blenheim in the South Island.

Frode Gjerstadis Norway’s most revered elder statesman of free jazz/improvised music and has led bands featuring many of the most influential innovators the music has seen - John Stevens, Johnny Dyani, William Parker, Peter Brotzmann, Hamid Drake etc..

Drummer Paal Nilssen-Love is one of the most explosive musicians around and regularly collaborates with Brotzmann, The Ex, Lasse Marhaug, Mats Gustafsson, Neneh Cherry and many more...

Jon Rune Strøm is a new generation bass player in the tradition of Gary Peacock, William Parker, Harry Miller and Johnny Dyani....
