Last year hotly-tipped Los Angeles rapper Azizi Gibson (preHISTORIC) and preeminent Christchurch producer Kamandi (Madcap) linked up. Since then, they're recorded several soundcloud smash hits, performed at Red Bull Sound Select's inaugural Auckland block party; and opened for Chance The Rapper at 30 Days In LA. Several months on, they're reuniting for their first joint tour of New Zealand and Australia.

Between the 20^th of February and the 7^th of March, Azizi Gibson and Kamandi will headline two Madcap curated Red Bull Sound Select events in Auckland and Wellington, as well as a show in Dunedin. They'll also perform at the Hullabaloo, Splore and Outfield festivals.

Since linking with ATL trap god Waka Flocka Flame's 36 Brickhouse label and dropping his new EP The Last, Azizi Gibson has been co-signed by MTV, 2DopeBoyz, Boi-1da and Scoop Deville. Aside from producing four of the songs on The Last, Kamandi spent our summer performing at festivals around New Zealand and racking up online support from Noisey, Thumpy and Hypetrak.

At all dates, Kamandi's ancient futurist beatscapes, chest-thumping bass and inventive sampling will support Aziz's idiosyncratic lyricism, hyperactive energy and audience rapport. Expect one of the most engaging beats'n'rap live shows of the year.
