 A bash of royal proportions….fit for the Queen herself!  

Come along on Queen’s Birthday weekend for an epic night of entertainment and community, with the gates opening at 4pm, the evening opens with Northland Native Troy Kingi, followed by the talented RnB voice of Pieter T and his band. 

Then top the night off on a high, with NZ songbird Ginny Blackmore and band.

'The Royal Bash' is a unique event and the first of many coming to the historic town of Paihia on Saturday 30th May 2015. Indulge yourself in a host of delicious food and beverage stalls. The Pavilion is an all weather venue, your Queens birthday weekend in Paihia is set! Joining this high class line up will be our local DJ, keeping the vibe going between acts and with fantastic music to dance away till the end of the night.

Bursting onto the music scene in 2013 with the release of her #1, double platinum selling debut single BonesGinny Blackmore went on to dominate New Zealand radio with her stunning duet with Stan WalkerHolding You, which also topped the charts at #1, and went on to become the Most Played New Zealand song of 2014. Continuing her success, Ginny has just released Love Me Anyway ahead of her much anticipated debut album, due for release on April 24th.

Pieter T's latest release Doing The Most introduced his audience to his live band which will be joining him at The Royal Bash! He has been touring endlessly over the last 3 years after the release of his second album Completion, travelling continuously to the shores of the USA, returning to Hawaii and through the Pacific as a full time musician. 

You'll know him for his collaborations with K.One, PNC and for his GOLD selling single, My Baby. You may recognise Troy Kingi from a string of successful film roles (most notably as “Hone” in Mt Zion) Co-starring alongside Stan Walker and Temuera Morrison but it’s music where Troy’s true passions lie and where his skills truly shine. Break a Bone is the first of Troy Kingi’s music to be released via Revolution Music Celebrate Queen’s birthday weekend in grandeur and style with this line up of high calibre musicians, in the winterless north, making the most of the last long weekend until spring!  See you under the pavilion, at the Village Green in Paihia, The Bay of Islands, Saturday 30th May 2015.
