One year ago, out of her
bedroom in Wellington, Estère released her self-produced/self-titled album as a free download featuring the
lead single I
Spy.
Having recently released the album in Europe to positive accolades from media
outlets including Elle Magazine (France) who described it as 'inventive and
brilliant' she has also re-released the album digitally in New Zealand with two
exclusive remixes - Grayson Gilmours re-invention of ‘Patchwork Solider’ and
Wellington producer Paddy Fred’sremix of ‘I
Spy’ a maximisation of minimalism through infectious
percussive layers and rich electronic textures.

Paddy Fred explains; "When
remixing this particular track I recorded 10 layers of synthesiser and 3 layers
of guitar. When I finished the remix there was only one layer of synthesiser
and no guitar. That’s because the vocal is dope and I just wanted to give it
space to breath."
You can catch Estère
