Tablefox return with their anticipated debut album, Objects, to be released 20 November 2015. To support the release, the band will be hitting the road for an upper North Island tour.
Tablefox are a five piece rock band from Auckland, compromising of Clinton Bell on vocals, the weaving guitars of Matt Carson and Chris Dickinson, Brendan Coyle on bass, and Owen Bradley on drums.
The band are developing a reputation as a powerful and honest live act, and promise more of the same while on tour in celebration of their new album. "It’s been a creative and challenging process, but we are extremely proud of what we have created, and everyone has done a fantastic job to produce a stunning album," says Tablefox guitarist Chris Dickinson. "We are really excited about sharing the songs with our fans, and getting out on the road."
Tablefox have released two singles from the album; Something Better and New World. Both are guitar driven pieces that encourage the listener to think about their place in the world.
Objects was recorded at Tsunami Sound Studios in the Horowhenua, and mixed by Matt Carson at Arcadien Studios. The music not only displays maturity and power, but also moments of light and shade that connects with an audience on an emotional level. "Objects is the culmination of a year and a half of crafting and refining songs that take a listener on a journey," declares Chris Dickinson.
The Objects tour begins with the album release show at Backbeat in Auckland, 20 November (supported by New Reptiles), moves to Nivara Lounge, Hamilton, 27 November (supported by Harry Parsons), and finally on to The Old Stone Butter Factory, Whangarei, 5 December (supported by Running Stitch).
