Bakers Eddy and Skinny Hobos cleaned up at the 2015 Demon Energy Battle of the Bands competition in August.
Now they bring their slick brands of rock to Auckland, Tauranga, Whanganui and Wellington from the 20th November to the 5th December, with support from local bands.
Bakers Eddy took out the top prize in Battle of the Bands, embarking on a 10 date tour of Europe on a party bus during September.
It was a crazy time for the 19 year old musicians from Wellington with all the associated chaos you can imagine, and culminated in a performance at Oktoberfest to 2500 fans.
They came home to the news that they have funding for their next single from NZ on Air and are celebrating by going on the road to show the North Island that rock is well and truly thriving, before they record the single –Wallbreaker, at Roundhead studio.
They are accompanied on tour by Skinny Hobos – a two piece alternative rock band from Auckland that defy the laws of physics with their clever distorted guitar harmonics and impressive performance style.
Skinny Hobos have recently spent time in Roundhead Studios tracking their debut album, due to be released before the end of 2015, and are on a mission to bring their live show to the masses.
