iHeartRadio New Zealand is excited to announce American pop power group Fifth Harmony will be performing a free live concert on 15 July at the Auckland Town Hall’s Concert Chamber.
Fifth Harmony will perform an exclusive showcase event in Auckland. The group had an award-winning 2015 that saw them garner honors at the MTV VMAs and EMAs, Teen Choice Awards and YouTube Music Awards, to name a few.
Making their New Zealand debut, the group will perform a 30-minute acoustic showcase followed by a live Q&A session.
NZME Group Entertainment Director, Dean Buchanan says, “We’re thrilled to be bringing Fifth Harmony to New Zealand as the next iHeartRadio show. The artists accepted the Group of the Year honour at the 2015 Billboard Women in Music awards, so we’re amped to offer a free concert to New Zealanders for a group that’s only getting bigger and bigger.”
The artists are coming to New Zealand hot off the release of their new album 7/27, which includes the global hit Work From Home feat. Ty Dolla $ign. The song spent two consecutive weeks at #1 on the NZ Top 40 Singles Chart and has had over 558 million views on YouTube. Their brand new single All In My Head (Flex) feat. Fetty Wap, also from 7/27, is already making its way to the top of the charts. Worth It feat. Kid Ink, from their album Reflection, has a mammoth 922 million YouTube hits.
The five-piece girl group was formed during the second season of The X Factor USA and consists of Ally Brooke, Normani Kordei, Dinah Jane, Camila Cabello and Lauren Jauregui.
