Electric Wire Hustle today announce the release of Brother Sun – Ashley Beedle Edits. The release arrives with a new music video for the Rodi Kirk & Aron Ottignon version of Brother Sun featuring Kimbra, originally a bonus track from 2015’s Aeons EP. The video, directed by William Moore, showcases the bouncy 70’s inspired piano-jam version set to an amazing backdrop of EWH’s home city Wellington, and featuring a horse named Dan.
The official video arrives alongside digital pre-orders for the Ashley Beedle Edits digital single. British legend Ashley Beedle’s North Street Edits showcase the songwriting abilities of EWH in a light, with dub and vocal treatment given to Rodi Kirk & Aron Ottignon’s summery, steel-pan version of Brother Sun. One of the highlights from 2015’s Aeons EP, Ashley Beedle’s North Street Edits breathe new life into a vocal collaboration between Mara TK and Kimbra. The single will be released digitally, with a 12” single arriving in the coming weeks.
