The Family of Strangers NZ Tour

09 March 2017 - 0 Comments

As we, the Rock and Roll fans of New Zealand come down from our collective high of a massive summer touring circuit and yet another incredible Homegrown, BV Entertainment has made it their business to keep this party going for a little bit longer still. Announced today in partnership with Wrecking Ball Media Ltd and proudly supported by Libel, is the “Family Of Strangers” National Tour.

With the idea of taking a whole tour across New Zealand, showcasing four of the countries most diverse and talented rock and roll bands. The brainchild of BV Entertainment, the concept inspired by festivals of old such as “The Family Values” tour and Disturbed's “Music as a Weapon” tours, was the idea that a collection of bands who create great music, can get together without any of the rock and roll pretence and put on a killer show from start to finish.

Ex-pat Kiwi Hard Rock act These Four Walls are on board with the Family for their first National Tour in over 2 years. Now based on the Gold Coast of Australia, These Four Walls have supported some of the biggest names in Rock and Roll. Two high charting albums and multiple National Tours deep into their career, These Four Walls are about to release their first single in over 4 years, Bravery, and will be showcasing songs from their latest upcoming release on this tour.

Auckland Based three piece Armed in Advance will be destroying ear drums for the Family with cuts off their latest album Change/Evolve, as well as bringing their noise from their highly successful Stitches EP. Since their inception in 2015, Armed in Advance have found great success through Radio Play and scoring high profile support slots with local legends I Am Giant and Villainy as well as International supports for Drowning Pool.

Bringing “The Devils Blues” to the family, His Master's Voice can be expected to wow audiences for the Family with their blistering blues swagger and catchy tunes. Spawned from a proud Rock and Roll pedigree, His Masters Voice are a collection of some of New Zealand's finest musicians, already with 2 EP's under their belt, they are quickly gathering a reputation as one of Auckland's finest active Rock and Roll acts.

Rounding off the Family are 5 Piece punk explosion Blue Ruin. Roaring out of nowhere, 5 ladies with a love of punk and all things loud have been turning heads with their highly energetic live shows and power performances, having already scored massive support slots with Buckcherry, The Misfits, and the almighty Steel Panther. They have recently dropped their debut single Scream Queen, and will be delivering some brand new tunes on the tour.

Starting In Christchurch and concluding in Auckland, the Family Of Strangers will be making their way up New Zealand like a hurricane, set to make some waves and bang some heads on their journey.
