The latest round of NZ On Air music grants is out today, representing another $150,000 injection for the nation's music and videomakers.
Five 'Radio Hits' rebates (for songs to have picked up significant airplay on commercial radio, but not previously funded by NZ On Air) are handed out in the third quarter, based on monitoring by Median Strip's own RadioScope tracking service. They are:
- 'Arithmetic' by Brooke Fraser
- 'Getting Stronger' by Adeaze featuring Aaradhna
- 'So Nice' by Scribe
- 'We Gon’ Ride' by Dei Hamo
- 'Today, Tomorrow, Timaru' by Deja Voodoo
Another 25 music videos will be made with the help of $5000 from NZ On Air.
Although there were 123 applications in the third quarter, only 25 grants were available, including one set aside in advance for the winner of the 2004 Cokesmokefreerockquest. That goes to St Peters band Incursa to shoot a clip for their debut release, 'Find Out'.

- 'Truly Mine' by JCK
- 'Tokyo' by Pine
- 'Fall Apart' by Eight
- 'TV' by The Fanatics
- 'Sunshine' by Alphrisk
- 'Stop The Music' by P-Money
