Grammy Award Winning Snarky Puppy Announce After Party

27 March 2017 - 0 Comments

After mind-blowing contemporary jazz legends Snarky Puppy finish their set at the Powerstation on April 6, the party continues on to Neck of the Woods where members of the Grammy winning band will set up and continue playing into the night led by the Snarky Puppy guitar virtuoso Mark Lettieri and his bandmates, Snarky Puppy bandleader and bassist Michael League and drummer Jason Thomas, in the Mark Lettieri Trio.

A member of Snarky Puppy since 2008, Lettieri has also toured with Erykah Badu and is an in-demand session guitarist whose recent work includes David Crosby, 50 Cent, Snoop Dogg, Eminem, Adam Levine, Kirk Franklin, Fred Hammond, Anthony Evans, Eric Roberson, Lecrae, Lupe Fiasco, Keyshia Cole, and Xzibit. Lettieri is also a member of Team SKP, a production collective led by Grammy Award-winning producer Symbolyc One (Kanye West, Beyonce).

Bobby Brazuka, the unofficial Brazilian ambassador of music and culture in New Zealand, will open the night at Neck of the Woods.

Doors open 10pm.
