Kehlani sells out the Powerstation, upgrades venue to the Logan Campbell Centre

04 April 2017 - 0 Comments

Due to overwhelming demand, R&B pop songstress, KEHLANI has upgraded her Auckland show to a larger capacity venue – now to be held at the Logan Campbell Centre on August 23, as part of her SweetSexySavage World Tour.

Touring in support of her acclaimed debut album, SweetSexySavage, tickets for Kehlani’s first New Zealand show have been snapped up, prompting the shift to a bigger venue – moving from The Powerstation to the Logan Campbell Centre. There is no change to the show date.

Tickets purchased for The Powerstation will remain valid for the show at the Logan Campbell Centre without the need for exchange. The show remains as an R18/All Ages split.

New tickets will go on sale on Thursday 6 April at 9am.

Ever since Kehlani released her first mixtape in 2014, Cloud 19, praise for the Oakland-born, R&B singer and songwriter has been unwavering. Her second mixtape released in 2015, You Should Be Here, was universally praised upon release and she was swiftly signed by Atlantic Records. Later that year she embarked on her first headline tour, selling out shows across North America and Europe. In early 2017, she released her debut album, SweetSexySavage, and is lighting fires all over the globe with her new singles CRZY and Distraction.

With accolades including a Grammy nomination, a spot on Noisey’s “50 Best Albums of 2015” and Rolling Stone’s “20 Best R&B Albums of 2015”, and being named as one of the “15 Artists to watch out for in 2015” by Complex, Kehlani is not to be missed.
