Salmonella Dub and Tiki Taane will be
joined onstage by Fat
Freddy's Drop and Ladi6 when they perform at Christchurch’s
Hagley Park, and Ladi6 and TrinityRoots at Owen
Delany Park in Taupo, for
their not to be missed 25th anniversary shows.
Fat Freddy’s Drop are internationally
regarded as one of the world’s finest live draws. Over years of intensive
touring, Fat Freddy's
Drop have created a sound that demands to be heard live, a
potent mixture of jazz virtuosity and diaphragm-wrecking sonics.
Ladi6 has been a vital part of the NZ hip hop scene since its inception. Developing
her lyrically introspective smoky-soul sound over years of consistent touring
alongside Shapeshifter, Fat Freddy’s Drop and Scribe, Ladi6’s career is
embossed with industry awards, considered critical acclaim and countless local
and international shows.
TrinityRoots have been described as “a boil-up of ingredients that seem to embody the very
essence of our home, land and sea”. Since their inception, hiatus and
reformation in 2010, TrinityRoots have performed sell-out shows locally and globally, building on
their reputation as a multi-award winning, platinum selling band.
Don’t miss out on seeing what promises to be three truly phenomenal events.
