Music News - Entries for the final round of Launchpad for 2004 open today

15 November 2004 - 0 Comments

Launchpad is a an initiative brought to you by Satellite Media, The Edge and Coke with the aim of launching the careers of previously unsigned New Zealand musicians.

From all the entries received for each round, a panel of music industry judges will narrow the competition down to three finalists. The winner will then be chosen by a public vote conducted over the internet at cokefridge.co.nz

The winner of each round will have a music video produced for their track; make a live appearance on Top Of The Pops, debut the video on Coke New Releases on TV2; get a day in a recording studio to re-record the track for radio; feature on the Edge play list and appear at Edgefest 2005; plus receive a feature profile in Rip It Up magazine and get a helping hand with PR to introduce your music to radio and the recording industry.

For any musicians interested, Round 4 Closes on the 1st of December.
