With Infinite respect to ever-changing Mother Nature all around us, Mother EP is the latest release from the eclectic and serial music producer *JOY*.
Heralding the Mother EP is the electronic, RnB-soulful track, The String of the Strength ft Mark Vanilau.
Mark has worked with New Zealand’s best - he’s a regular member of Dave Dobbyn’s band, and has played with Fly My Pretties, TrinityRoots, Hollie Smith, Eru Dangerspiel and Ladi6.
Mark Vanilau's superb voice sets off the sparse percussion and enhances the lyrical journey of this song.
Dancing on the fringes of jazz The String of the Strength builds from a spatial place, gliding into cello and riding on a beautiful undertow of piano. There is a rich musical freedom to this track.

Known for his unique approach to musical releases and frequent outpouring of experimental music, *JOY* is releasing 3 E.P's over 3 months, so here is #1 Mother EP.
