95bFM: Putting the 'b' back in fambly

09 May 2018 - 0 Comments

95bFM are proud to announce the return of the mighty bCard! The new, digital bCard is live now.

Following the example of many of the world’s best loved independent radio stations, the new bCard is bFM’s move into a subscription model of funding: providing the station with the stability they need to continue in their tradition of quality independent broadcasting and support of local independent music.

In return for a small monthly subscription fee, bCard holders receive an array of benefits. They can enter on-air prize giveaways, have free entry to 95bFM events, and receive discounts from our local business partners.

Historically, the bCard has been 95bFM listeners’ key to a sense of community and participation in the station. Owning a bCard showed that you listened to bFM, you supported bFM, that you were a bFM person. The return of the bCard means bringing that same sense of community to a whole new generation of listeners - putting the ‘b’ back in fambly. And to bring the whole thing into the 21st Century, the new bCard is now fully digital.

The bCard has three subscription tiers. The two lower tiers, Tweeter ($4.20 p/month) and Squawker ($9.50 p/month), are aimed at individual listeners, while the third, Woofer ($100 p/month), is aimed at local businesses who want to show their support for 95bFM. Each tier receives different levels of benefits.

With the 50th anniversary of 95bFM fast approaching, the new bCard marks the beginning of a whole new era of independence and community at the station.

Complete sign-up information and a full list of discounters is available here.
