The big black juggernaut that is NZ Music Month 2005 is only three days away from taking the field, so while we run it through the last of the drills before kickoff here are three good reasons to be excited:
1. Shihad call time on for Music Month with a free show in Auckland’s Aotea Square this Sunday from 4 to 5pm. Extra special thanks to Vodafone, Kiwi FM, and The Rock for their support of the show. An enormous stage is under construction as we speak…
2. Official NZ Music Month 2005 t-shirts have arrived in our office, and will be in Hallensteins stores nationwide from May 1st. They are available in a variety of men’s and women’s sizes and cuts for $29.95. Of course you all know the colour by now - we’re currently dressed head to toe in black, the same story as usual but with better t-shirts.
3. The NZ Music Month website is live and looking quite flash, we think. Check out www.nzmusicmonth.co.nz for news, competitions, and a gig guide close to bursting with hundreds of shows listed throughout the country during the month. Keep checking back for more updates throughout the month.
Thanks to www.nzmusic.org.nz for this story.
