The Full Line-Up Of 42 Acts Across Five Stages Is Here!

06 November 2018 - 0 Comments

The full line-up for Jim Beam Homegrown 2019 has just been announced! Incredible Kiwi talent such as Mitch James, Savage, P-Money, Three Houses Down, OpShop and Villainy have been added to an already impressive bill including, Shapeshifter, Dave Dobbyn, Blindspott, Broods, Stan Walker, Sons Of Zion, Kora, The Black Seeds, Quix, The Upbeats, Elemeno P and another 25 acts!

Kiwi music’s biggest party will celebrate its 12th year on March 23rd 2019. Organisers have adjusted the festival site across its five Wellington Waterfront stages to cater for demand as tickets for the event are selling 40% quicker than last year’s record sell out. The additions to the line-up in this announcement mean that another sell out is expected even earlier for the 2019 festival.

The grassy expanse of Waitangi Park plays host to the biggest stage featuring; Shapeshifter, the mighty Kora, chart toppers Sons Of Zion and a feast of reggae including, Katchafire, Three Houses Down ft. General Fiyah, House Of Shem, and thanks to Sunshine Sound System and DJ Sir-Vere, the Dub & Roots Stage will be serving up some serious summer vibes.

Just opposite Waitangi Park, you’ll hit the Electronic Marquee featuring the biggest electronic line-up Jim Beam Homegrown has ever hosted. With extended capacity, this stage will feature the biggest names in NZ dance music including, Quix, Montell2099, Lee Mathews, Chores and Jon Lemmon who will be joined by Aroha ft. MC Tali, General Lee and Cymbol. Plenty of bass in the place will keep the tent heaving across the day.

As you stroll down the waterfront promenade, past the carnival rides and food vendors, you’ll find the new outdoor Rock stage where the sound will be cranking for the most talked about reunion in Kiwi Rock, Blindspott is back together and will tear it up alongside Devilskin, Villany, The Feelers, Racing, Dead Favours and Skinny Hobos.

A little further along you’ll find the always popular Lab Stage, boasting a mega line-up in 2019 where Broods, Stan Walker, Kings and Home Brew will play alongside Mitch James, P Money, Savage, SWIDT and JessB.

With a uniquely relaxed vibe, The City Stage, set amongst beautiful Pohutukawa will feature Dave Dobbyn, The Black Seeds, Tiki Taane, Alae, Che Fu & The Kratez joining the ever popular OpShop and Elemeno P.

For the first time, Jim Beam Homegrown is extending the good times in Wellington with the addition of the Jim Beam Homegrown Pre-Party on Friday 22nd March. The pre-party will be headlined by pioneers of Aotearoa’s Dub n Bass, Salmonella Dub feat. Tiki Taane – alongside Katchafire, L.A.B. and Soulware. Pre-Party tickets are available from $69.90+BF.

A true icon in the festival landscape, Jim Beam Homegrown has something for everyone. Tickets are on sale now at homegrown.net.nz for $139.90+BF.
