One of New Zealand’s most acclaimed songwriters returns to releasing music, but in a new way. Feeling strangled by music industry release norms of premieres, deadlines and embargoes on his music, Lawrence Arabia (James Milne) decided to take a step closer to his fans, sending them his new music as he makes it.
Lawrence Arabia (James Milne) reveals the origins of the single number ten lie in a dream. That dream was inside another dream he was having, "a contagious dream that took over everyone's minds, filling them with gooey loving sentiments, thus healing the world. The atmosphere of the dream seemed to gel with the atmosphere I was beginning to create."
Milne describes his tenth addition to the collection (Contagious Dream Heals The World) as "a final intake of breath before moving into the last phase of recording in the coming couple of weeks. Wish me luck folks!"
