Diving straight into the new year, brothers Oli and Louis Leimbach will be releasing their first single of 2019 titled Money. Then it’s straight back on the road for a tour across Australia and New Zealand!
Lime Cordiale had a massive 2018, selling out a tonne of dates across their 27-date Dirt Cheap tour. The single of the same name didn’t drag its heels either as Dirt Cheap was added to high rotation on Triple J and Lime Cordiale’s Spotify account grew to half a million monthly listeners.
Their new single Money was produced by Dave Hammer, the name behind their first record, Permanent Vacation.
“Some people have an obsession with money. This one is for those that think that money is more important than what really matters,” says Louis.
The 14-date Money tour takes them all across Australia and New Zealand – including dates in Dunedin, Wellington, Auckland and Christchurch. This is their third - and biggest - tour in New Zealand. For their headline shows at Galatos in Auckland and San Fran in Wellington, Lime Cordiale are bringing one of their favourite bands, Gold Member, across the ditch as main support.
The band have been joining Tash Sultana on stage at her own festivals, featuring some of her own hand-picked artists. This gives some good inspiration for the band when they hold their own second annual festival, 'The Squeeze', in May.
