ManaLion is a creative brainchild of the talented duo “Mondo” and “Duan & Only” that combines a plethora of musical influences that the two have had since growing up. Hailing from New Zealand, “Duan & Only” alias “The Key Master” is the key vocalist and song designer of the band and Mondo, also known as ”Ghost Buster”, is the overlord of kit and triggers with exploding polyrhythms and ghost notes.
The deadly music duo is greatly influenced by Soul to Roots, Funk to DnB, and Gangsta Rap to Hardcore. With 6 years of practicing, the band has perfected their path to the musical career which encouraged them to produce captivating, high-energy music which they describe as Alt/Pop Fantasy Reggae.
Nothing II Lose is a collection of 11 dynamic tracks with a variety of genres in each song binding the entire album to a singular theme of feel-good vibes. Inspired by the legends of Motown, Bob Marley, The Police, AC/DC, Fat Freddy's Drop, Tom Jones, Soundgarden and Dr. Hook, the band tunes into their roots blending Soul, Reggae, and Rock-'n'-Roll. “Nothing II Lose” will definitely hit the spot for the bands current fanbase and captivate listeners across the world.
