The countdown is on to Sonorous - New Zealand’s premiere house and techno-focused festival, featuring internationally-renowned names such as Anthony Pappa, D-NOX, Eelke Kleijn, Juliet Fox, Teenage Mutants and Wankelmut.

Due to popular demand, Sonorous is returning for its second year and will be held on Auckland Anniversary Weekend - Sunday, January 27 - at Matakana Country Park, just outside of Auckland.

The carefully curated line-up includes some of the biggest names in underground music, from the aforementioned legends alongside top acts such as Dick Johnson, Greg Churchill, Heylady and K2K. See full list of acts and set times below.

Roger Sanchez Announced

Sonorous is also excited to present Grammy-winning star Roger Sanchez live at The Studio in Auckland on Friday, March 1.

From humble beginnings in NYC to multi-year residences in Ibiza and headlining festival main stages around the world, Roger Sanchez is a self-made man and dance music legend.

Sanchez emerged in a time and place where hip-hop, house music and ‘turntablism’ all collided in a perfect storm of creativity, opportunity and fresh beats. He went on to build an empire, releasing more than 2000 original productions and remixes, including remixes for some of the biggest acts in the world, from Michael Jackson and Diana Ross to The Police, Maroon 5 and No Doubt, for which he won a Grammy in 2003 with his Hella Good remix

He also re-sampled Toto to come up with one of the most respected commercial house tracks of all time, Another Chance, which made it to number 1 in the UK charts.

He's guested at Boiler Room, Creamfields Ibiza, Glastonbury, Glitterbox, Amnesia, Pacha and the late Ibiza Space just to name a few.

Don’t miss Roger Sanchez on Kiwi soil at the Studio on March 1. Tickets available HERE
