The next chapter in Tali’s drum n bass story is available today.
With atmospheric synth strings, subtle electric guitar and ethereal soulful layered vocals from Tali and guest Georgie Fisher (with production by Malaky), Love & Migration, the title track from her previously released album, is the perfect way to celebrate long summer days and festive nights.
Love & Migration is a reflection on many forms of movement - physical, mental and metaphysical. The single being the last on the 11 track album it echoes the LP’s overarching themes of growth, wisdom, contemplation, the fleetingness of time, self-observation and of course - love.
Tali has toured the world several times over as both an MC and with a live band - including many festival appearances such as Glastonbury, Sun and Bass and Exit Fest. She has won three DnB awards, released seven studio albums with Love & Migration being her first full DnB album in seven years, and it’s a welcome return for New Zealand’s First Lady of Drum n Bass.
Having toured Europe in October and several appearances during Aotearoa’s summer at Northern Bass, Rhythm And Alps, WOMAD, Splore and Homegrown, DnB fans have been revelling in the opportunity to experience the moody, cinematic production of Love & Migration first hand.
