The album set a new benchmark in southern-hemisphere
metal, and is a skull-cracking testament to Bulletbelt’s relentless drive.
The Wellington-based band have poured a decade of
recording and touring experiences, and a lifetime of musical influences, into
Nine Centuries, and the album is Bulletbelt’s most creatively ambitious release
yet.
It was recorded at The Lab in Auckland, NZ, with Cam
Sinclair. Produced by Bulletbelt drummer Steve Francis and guitarist Ross
Mallon. And specifically mastered for a vinyl release by Brad Boatright at
Audiosiege.
Guests on Nine Centuries include Midnight’s Vanik, who
delivers a face-melting solo on Cloak the Night. Massacre vocalist Kam Lee
lends his legendary pipes to Show Me Your Throat. And Hypatia features a
string quartet from the New Zealand Symphony Orchestra.
