After a successful crowdfunding campaign back in 2015, Poneke-based songwriter and poet Claudia Jardine makes her debut with North EP, a collection of songs available May 3rd.
Jardine is celebrating the milestone with a release party gig in the capital on May 19, supported by new locals Fruit Juice Parade and busy frock-rockers Ingrid and the Ministers.
The EP contains lyrics of missed connections, misread signs and steadily growing self-reliance backed by flexes of pop from a folky foundation of acoustic guitar – the results of collaborating in the studio with Estonian artist Taavi Paomets (Avoid Dave). Keep your eyes and ears peeled for the long awaited release.
