Coke New Releases: Fresh Music from the fridge

Saturday 8th October, 11am-12pm TV2

This special edition of Coke New Releases is for everyone who loves the feeling of carpet between their toes –red carpet that is. We take to the Vodafone NZ music awards for the glitz, glamour and gumboots in what may have been a dismally rainy night outside, but a sparklingly good show inside!

Back in the studio Phil gets the low down from King Kapisi in a one-on-one bout and we’ve got five signed copies of his new album to be won. Plus, we take to the bowling alleys of Auckland with the gorgeous Anika Moa in her new video. There are also 5 double passes to give away to her NZ shows.

The brand new Sony mini system is keeping the lounge warm and waiting to be won – all you have to do is vote for your favourite artist from this week’s show.

Top of the Pops

Saturday 8th October, 5pm-6pm TV2

This week on Top of the Pops we have a cracker show featuring New Zealand’s own up and coming rock superstars The Checks with their brand new song ‘Butter Boys!’ These guys never disappoint with their incredible live performances.

Then, all the way from sunny Australia we have Ben Lee down in our studio to perform his beautiful song ‘Catch My Disease.’

Also on the show this week we have a fresh batch of exclusive international performances from Kanye West and the brand new single from Robbie Williams!

PLUS Top of the Pops also gets in on all the action for the Vodafone New Zealand music awards! We catch up with all the big winners from Wednesday night and check out awesome performances from P Money, Dei Hamo and Shihad!

Coke Countdown

Sunday 9th October, 10am-12pm TV2

Local hip hoppers Nesian Mystik blast their way into the top ten with the first single from their new album, while the Black Eyed Peas are phunking their way ahead with two singles in the charts.

We’ve got Mattafix wanderings through the back alleys of London, while fellow countryman James Blunt maintains a well polished grasp on the top of the charts. Meanwhile 2pac continues his posthumous resurgence with a plot in the top five and Rooster creep slowly up the pecking order.

On top of that we’ve a handful of tickets to give away to the surf-tastic Tristan Prettyman who plays a private, VIP gig early next week, as well as your chance to win the latest from Robbie Williams.

Plus there’s brand new fresh kiwi clips from one and only Anika Moa, and punky locals Goodnight Nurse. Don’t miss it!
